BATTLE OF THE ATLANTIC  -  FEEDBACK

"I would like to pass on a BZ from the Chief of Maratime Staff, VAdm D. Robertson, to all cadet corps that took part in the National Battle of The Alantic Ceremony last Sunday.

He was impressed with the deportment and the drill of all the cadets.

I have heard nothing but praise for the cadet's performance.  It is successful ceremonies like this that ensure that Sea Cadets are given the opportunity to help commemmorate our Veteran's sacrifices.

I would like to thank all the cadets and officers who ensure that, once again, Sea Cadets are seen as a valued part of the Canadian military family.

Every single person who participated deserves the familiar "Bravo Zulu" - well done.  I look forward to seeing most of your next year - and in the year 2010 when we shall commemmorate the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Atlantic and the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Navy."

LCdr Roland A. Vaillancourt

National Capital Coordinator

Members of the Branch and cadet parents are reminded that Tuesday evening is also the "administration night" for HMCS Carleton.  Parking on the inside lot is for Carleton staff only.  Everyone else is urged to park opposite the gate in the lot along the rail line.  Parents waiting for cadets on the inside lot will be asked to move.  The Military Police will be called to enforce these rules if they continue to be abused.
